So, here I am, in Nottingham. Finally. After 31 hours of travelling. Had a really chaotic journey back. Just found out that I had10hours of transit the day before I left, not knowing what I could do in the long hours. Parents were worried, siblings were worried and I was really worried bout myself as well. But thank God, it all went well and I am now safely back in Nott.
Started off with my first flight from KLIA. Was crying at the boarding gate as well as in the flight. Even had the thought of leaving the flight at the very last moment; was really reluctant to leave. There was a lengzai sitting next to me. Erm, not super lengzai, but not bad. Very tall and muscular. A future lawyer. Lol. This is his first time coming to the UK actually, but he was the one who calmed me down in flight. Not the other way round. Really paiseh max. So my whole journey to Dubai was spent with him *happy*. Haha. At least not that bored :)
Then I decided to have an adventurous night out in Dubai during the long hours. I left the airport and checked in at Premier Inn alone. The room was really comfy with a king size bed, the toilet was really clean and there was free Wifi. Everything was just perfect for a night stay. Did not have much time there though, had a hot shower, skyped with Wen and rested for 4 hours before I went back to the airport. However, glad that I went out. Got to see Dubai's constructions like highways, the beautiful Burj al-Arab building from far and their local houses' design all. At least been there :) It was really stuffy there, bout 38degrees when I arrived at night.
Then after a night of stay, I went back to the airport at 5plus in the morning. My flight from Dubai to Birmingham was Boeing 777 airplane with 400 over passengers. Really crowded at the boarding gate. Was dizzy when I was sitting among the crowd, even blackout once, but for like probably a second or two. Then I quickly moved to a less crowded area. A motherly madam who was sitting next to me asked me if I was okay and was giving me advices on how to make me feel better. Then a very kind sir actually queued up for me for boarding. I told him that I was a lil not well and wanted to just follow him to queue up. When we were queuing, he asked me to sit at the side and would call me when it's out turn. Even found place for me to rest and stood beside me to ensure I was okay before getting on the flight. Super good :)
Everything was okay when I was in the flight. Dizzy but at least not until I was unstable or wanting to faint. The breakfast was horrible. But the lunch was yummy :) Oh ya, an air stewardess accidentally poured some hot tea on my leg =.=" luckily I was wearing a dark colour pants and luckily it's not REALLY hot. And probably I should say luckily she poured it on me. I guess if it's another customer, she might get into trouble. Owh, and not forgetting this second journey without lengzai next to me but an uncle who was talking so loudly as if he was teaching a lesson and his wife who treated the airplane like her concert ground. =.=" Still prefer my first journey in flight. Lol.
Reached Birmingham on time. Collected my huge luggage then headed back to Nottingham. Quite inconvenient in Birmingham New Street as I needed to transit from one platform to another via subway using the lift. And the lift took ages to arrive everytime. And upon my first arrival at the platform, I watched the train left in front of me. =.=" Okay nevermind. I then moved to another and waited for another train. And when I reached the second platform, they announced a change in platform. =.=" Fortunately, I managed to get onto the train after changing platform for the third time. Won't mind all these if I was travelling without luggages. But I was carrying my huge 28.3kg bag with my 8kg hand carry and handbag along the way. Phew.
Took a cab back home and had Wen welcoming me back at the front door. :) So great to see her, after long hours of travelling. Had porridge cooked by Joo as my dinner. Thank you so much as I was really too tired to cook. Lol. Cleaned my rooms and off to bed at around 10pm. But I was awake at 4am. Lol. Skyped with my family then and here I am writing this blogpost. Will cont to sleep after this again.
That's all bout my 31hours journey back alone. I survived. =)
