A student of my former school in Kajang fell to death from the school's buildings pn Tuesday morning. He was referred to the disciplinary and counselling departments following a report of him nudging a junior. The boy committed suicide as soon as he left the counselling room and died on the spot felling from the 4th floor of the same building. What is the truth behind his suicide? I guess no one will know now. Heard and read many versions of story for the past 3 days. Counsellor would definitely protect himself if he ever said anything wrong to the boy before he died. The junior who reported him would definitely keep quiet regardless whether the deceased actually nudged her on purpose. The parents know nothing about what happened to their son. No one could now proof the deceased innocent if he is. Sigh. Regardless what, personally I still think suicide is not the choice. It would be good for himself to have everything solved by jumping down the building, but what about his parents, his friends and those whom he left behind.
On the same day when the incident happened, there was another news where 3 gals aged 11-12years old were trapped in an elevator for 96hours but insisted they would survive. They were saved by 6 chicken wings and 1 bottle of mineral water. They even broke open the elevator doors by stucking two pairs of sandals in betwenn, in order to get some air and for them to call for help. Imagine that, 3 girls of primary school level, with all their energy to open the elevator doors. Survived after 4 days with a bottle of mineral water. Salute.
Some people give up on their lives so easily yet some struggle to live. It's the matter of choice. A choice to live or to die. But, I still think those who choose to suicide are too selfish.
